SafeTeen is a youth empowerment and violence prevention program that has been around for 40 years. They're based in Vancouver, but deliver programs to girls and boys all over the world with tremendous impact and success. In seeking a new site, I convinced them that they really needed to do a strategic re-branding based on todays market and needs for youth, schools and parents.
The concept for the wordmark is varying shades of grey implying the diversity amongst the teens own experiences, backgrounds, relationships and gender identification. The two e's of differing colour facing one-another represent the variety of encounters one can engage when holding your power and speaking your truth.
